| Guide Ayman was amazing. He was enthusiastic, helpful, patient and very organized. He set a great mood for the tour, and continued to give the group a great time with hints for exploring, planning our time well and ensuring we knew the plan for the day. He particularly showed his quality when looking after a tour member who became ill, and organizing taxis to get us all in logical groups to the airport at the end of the tour. Ayman also seemed to enjoy being with the group, so we didn't feel like a burden. After the next trip's experience, I'm particularly grateful for his dedication - even on 'free' evenings, he would take us out to show us restaurants or markets, so that we had a deep and real impression of Jordan. |

Jordan is a fascinating country and the scenery spectacular, with the 4wd into Wadi Rum one of the highlights (along with Petra of course! Thanks to our guide we were able to get some great photos in the Siq before the crowds arrived), Dana was a great surprise, and exceeded expectations. Dear Nizar.. I doubt that any of us will forget the events of the last 13 days in a hurry. Who would have thought that the eruptions of a relatively small volcano in Iceland would cause such global chaos? ... With 95,000 European flights cancelled and estimates of up to 1m people impacted by the volcanic ash, the disruption was unprecedented ...
Given the scale and unique nature of this event, what has been achieved in terms of customer management and repatriation is quite remarkable. I wanted to write to thank you all, sincerely, for the very big part you have played in helping us to look after passengers and ensure their safe return. Your support and professionalism has been outstanding ... you have worked tirelessly with local airlines to ensure our customers are re-booked on the earliest possible return flights. The evidence of this is clear, because within just 6 days of flights resuming, we have managed to repatriate 85% of our customers with the remainder to return in the next couple of days. This is a much better outcome than might have been expected – thanks to you...
In the meantime it remains only for me to, once again, express gratitude for the support you have shown and for the excellent co-operation that continues to exist between us- even in these most testing of circumstances. |

I've just got back from Tour JO-Petra and Wadi Rum and wanted to let you know that it was absolutely awesome. We have all seen the iconic pictures of the Siq and Treasury at Petra but nothing prepared me for how overwhelming the whole site is. Standing on the High Place of Sacrifice looking over at the area I wondered just how much there is still to discover-it is a vast site. Also the sun shining on the Monastery-wow, well worth the climb...
Please pass on my thanks to our guide Issa. He did very well to keep us in order!! He shared his love of the country with us. Jordan is a small country but packed with history, geography and nature. I have been spreading the word with my friend Issa, that Jordan is the place to go. |
