Well documented, yet highly uncharacteristic gilt silver filigree (Bird) necklace from San'a, Yemen. Even the motifs of birds and hands, hearts, stars, and crescents with a bow tie pendant are uncharacteristic.
According to sources, these necklaces were few in number and produced by a single smith, Meysha Al-Abyadh, in the period from 1930 to 1940.   |
